Codes of Conduct
It is my intention to lead by example in terms of how I expect children, adult clients, staff and parents to conduct themselves in regards to my Tennis with Jake sessions. I look to treat everyone with respect and create an environment where everyone feels safe and able to enjoy the sport of tennis. Ultimately, tennis is a competitive sport and at our level the participants are also the umpires. This can provide challenging moments, particularly for highly competitive individuals whose enjoyment from sport is almost entirely aligned with the end result. I look to discourage this outlook and promote one whereby the enjoyment is derived from the participation with friends, the endorphins released from exercise, the thrill of exciting rallies and great shots and winning is the icing on the cake. For more detials, please read the below policies, created by the NSPCC, which give more detail about how I would like parents, staff and children to conduct themselves at my Tennis with Jake sessions.
